Like most little girls, my first beauty icon was someone dear to me: my grandmother. I fondly remember her rigorous skincare routines and her hair in rollers as she applied lipstick from a tube reminiscent of Charlotte Tilbury. As a Japanese woman, she carried intentionality in every moment from the way she showed me love and the way she loved herself. In every client that I help see their own natural beauty, I am brought back to sitting with my grandmother at her vanity.
Working in weddings and editorials since 2018, I built every WYD service to be an experience not just an appointment, allowing me to go over and beyond for every WYD client.
